Job summary

WhiteTech is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to uphold the integrity of our fintech payment solutions. You will lead QA within cross-functional teams, design test strategies for functional, UI, API, and integration testing, and drive pixel-perfect validation across devices and browsers.

You will collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to set quality expectations, write reusable test cases, and continuously improve QA processes while working remotely within CET hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in manual and semi-automated testing of web-based applications.
• 2+ years of API testing, including auth flows, error handling, and payload validation.
• Proven experience testing payment systems and transactional flows.
• Experience with responsive design testing and cross-platform validation.
• Knowledge of Postman, Chrome DevTools, Swagger, and test management systems.
• Understanding of REST APIs, session handling, and data flows.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data validation.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile (Scrum/Kanban).
• Pixel-perfect mindset and ability to identify UI issues.
• Proactive, analytical, and autonomous with ownership.

Responsibilities

• Drive pixel-perfect validation of complex web interfaces across multiple devices, screen sizes, and browsers.

• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to define quality expectations and shift testing left.
• Write structured, reusable test cases and detailed bug reports that help the team move fast without sacrificing quality.
• Review and improve test documentation, coverage, and regression practices across releases.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and team workflows.

Your role and impact:

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at WhiteTech you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our cutting-edge payment solutions. Your efforts in identifying, reporting, and tracking bugs, along with your active involvement in the entire software development lifecycle, will directly contribute to the reliability and performance of our products. You'll collaborate with a dynamic team to push the boundaries of what's possible in the fintech industry.

Your key responsibilities:

Requirements & skills:

• 3+ years of experience in manual and semi-automated testing of web-based applications.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with API testing , including auth flows, error handling, and payload validation.
• Proven experience testing payment systems , transactional flows, and basic third-party integrations.
• Experience with responsive design testing , browser dev tools, network analysis, and cross-platform validation.
• Knowledge of Postman , Chrome DevTools , Swagger , and test management systems (e.g. TestRail, Xray).
• Understanding of frontend–backend architecture , including REST APIs, session handling, and data flows.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend consistency checks.
• Solid understanding of SDLC , STLC , and Agile (Scrum/Kanban) development processes.
• A strong "pixel-perfect" mindset and ability to quickly identify visual and behavioral UI issues.
• Proactive, analytical, and able to work autonomously with a strong sense of ownership.
