Job summary

Perfict Global is seeking a QA Engineer to design and execute test plans for software products, combining manual and automated testing to identify defects and drive quality. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to create robust test scenarios and ensure timely issue resolution.

Ideal candidates bring experience with Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Python, and familiarity with Jira/TestRail, Git, and testing methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proven QA Engineer or similar role in software QA.
• Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting (Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Python).
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail).
• Familiarity with version control (Git).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and specifications.
• Perform manual and automated testing of software applications to identify bugs, defects, and performance issues.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and design effective test scenarios.
• Report and track defects using bug tracking tools, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality and testing efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of test automation frameworks and tools.
• Conduct regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing as needed.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test results, defects, and test coverage.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in software quality assurance.
• Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Python).
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Experience with API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
