Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct a search for a skilled QA Engineer on behalf of our client, a rapidly growing cloud-based hosting provider revolutionizing the game server space.

In this role, youll take ownership of quality assurance efforts across their platformdeveloping scalable, automated, and manual testing protocols to ensure high reliability and performance. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Designing and implementing comprehensive QA procedures, including automated and manual testing.
• Collaborating with developers to ensure system requirements and functionality meet expectations.
• Creating detailed test plans and executing test cases across multiple releases.
• Tracking bugs, performance issues, and ensuring test coverage using tools like JIRA, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Leading enforcement of QA best practices across the development lifecycle.
• Reporting testing results, release readiness, and improvement recommendations to stakeholders.
• Supporting continuous integration/testing processes within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  
  

What You Will Need:

• Proven experience in software QA, test plan development, and execution.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and automation frameworks.
• Experience with Selenium, Cypress, TestRail, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with web technologies such as JavaScript, Vue.js, and backend tools like Laravel or PHP (a plus).
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a distributed team environment.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Git, Postman for API testing, and performance tools like JMeter.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field.
