Job summary

NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory seeks a Quality Assurance Electrical Engineer in Pasadena to review electrical designs, ensure NFPA 70/ NEC and CEC compliance, and support construction through design and turnover.

You will coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical, and other building systems, provide clear QA/QC feedback, and maintain documentation to support project delivery and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 9+ years of related experience.
• QA/QC experience and design review of building or facilities projects.
• Knowledge of electrical building systems and applicable codes.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical design drawings and calculations for code compliance.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical, and other building systems.
• Verify grounding, lighting, and power distribution designs.
• Provide clear QA/QC feedback to designers using Bluebeam.
• Maintain QA/QC records and status reports.
• Assist in commissioning and system acceptance testing.
