Job summary

Integra in Houston is seeking a QA Electrical Engineer to ensure quality, compliance, and performance of electrical systems in manufacturing. You will oversee inspections, develop test procedures, manage documentation, and support ISO 9001 and safety programs.

The role requires a bachelor’s in electrical engineering, 2+ years in a related field, and hands-on QA testing experience with electrical equipment. On-site position in Houston with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline required.
Minimum 2+ years in electrical engineering or quality assurance in manufacturing or industrial environments.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IPC, NETA ATS/MTS and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Conduct inspections and verification of electrical systems for NEC, IEC, IEEE compliance.
Develop and execute QA inspection plans, test protocols, and acceptance criteria.
Investigate non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and implement CAPA.
Collaborate with design, manufacturing and project teams to resolve quality issues.
Maintain QA documentation including inspection reports, test records, and NCR logs.
Audit suppliers to ensure UL, CSA, and NRTL quality requirements.
Participate in ISO 9001 audits and compliance activities.
Train and mentor QA technicians in electrical inspection techniques and safety practices.
