Job summary

Forge Biologics is seeking a Manager, Document Control – QA Operations to lead the Document Control team within a GMP environment. You will drive compliant document management using eQMS, oversee change controls, and govern SOPs andWork Instructions to support manufacturing and QA operations.

The role requires 8+ years in document control or quality systems, strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, and proficiency with eQMS platforms (Veeva Vault preferred).

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Document Control, Quality Systems or related role in GMP-regulated environment.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with eQMS (Veeva Vault preferred) and document lifecycle management.
• Strong written communication, organization and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Document Control team and ensure compliant, efficient management of controlled documents.
• Oversee eQMS activities: change controls, revisions, lifecycle, and verification.
• Author, review, and approve SOPs and related documents.
• Collaborate with QA, manufacturing and QC to align procedures with regulatory requirements.
