Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Quality Assurance Data Specialist in Granbury, TX. The role reports to the Compliance Director and focuses on reviewing, analyzing, and presenting data, creating analysis tools and reports, and supporting audits and performance improvement activities.

The candidate will assist with data collection, verification, and analysis to assess quality and efficiency of services, while managing SaaS accounts and ensuring compliance with programs.

Qualifications

Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Data Specialist reports to the Compliance Director. This position is responsible for but not limited to the following: reviewing, analyzing, compiling, and presenting data; creating and managing data analysis tools and reporting trends. Completes data corrections and incident reporting. Compiles data on client deaths, MCO data, bed days, etc. Pulls data to assist in the creation of Board reports. Manages various SaaS accounts and Performance Contract deliverables. Participates in audits, surveys, and reviews by external agencies, including preparations, coordination, and corrective action planning and performance improvement activities.

Duties & Essential Job Functions

Under the general supervision of the Compliance Director, assists in executing the agency’s Quality Management plans for Behavioral Health & Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities programs. May assist with coordinating QI activities of staff and contracted providers and monitoring of their QI performance. Will assist with the collection, verification, and analysis of data for assessing the quality and efficiency of staff’ and other providers’ delivery of behavioral health and intellectual and developmental disabilities services.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of policies and procedures, HIPAA, CLSP, LPND, CARF, CCBHC, etc. Ability to multitask. Ability to interpret behavioral health and intellectual and developmental disabilities service standards and rules and reduce them to qualitative work measurements; devise and implement data-collection and analysis processes; establish and maintain effective working relations with the agencies and contractors’ administrative and client-care staff. Must be inquisitive and attentive to details, able to converse clearly and tactfully with persons at all levels of authority; and able to write clear, well-organized reports and procedural instructions. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programs and willingness to learn other data systems.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Education: Bachelor’s degree in human services, or other related field with 30 hours of credits in human services and is eligible to be certified as a qualified mental health professional. Experience: Records-auditing activities in a health care industry is preferred.

Required Licenses/Certifications

A valid Texas driver’s license and good driving record is required along with a copy of a valid auto insurance card.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, squat, lift 25 pounds, sit for an extended period, and reach overhead.
