Texas Family Care Network seeks a Data Quality Specialist in Dallas to enter data accurately across multiple electronic systems and uphold data integrity. You will review documents, identify discrepancies, and ensure timely data entry to support program outcomes and reporting.

You will collect, enter, and clean data, monitor data quality, and collaborate with departments to close gaps. The role requires clear communication, ability to handle multiple tasks, and regular supervision to maintain

Qualifications

  • One year of experience in data entry, reporting, or administrative/clerical support.
  • High School diploma or associate degree in a data-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Valid state driver’s license and safe driving record.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Clearances: DPS, DFPS, FBI, CBCU Eligibility Determination, and Child Abuse Clearances.

Job description

The Data Quality Specialist is responsible for entering data and ensuring data accuracy and integrity within several electronic systems used to monitor information and outcomes. This role will be responsible for meeting timeframes for entering crucial data into electronic systems, reviewing documents for data quality, and for identifying and correcting discrepancies within systems. The Data Quality Specialist will perform all job duties in a way that demonstrates and emphasizes kind and respectful behavior, purposeful connection, and integrity in a service-oriented manner.

Responsibilities
  • Support/Service Delivery
    • Collect, enter, and clean data within systems managed by the Texas Family Care Network and subcontractors.
  • Quality Improvement
    • Identify and correct data gaps and errors by monitoring reports and reviewing documents.
  • Communication
    • Collaborate and communicate between departments to maximize data quality for the Texas Family Care Network and the provider network.
  • Supervision
    • Receive supervision.
    • Receive supervision from and actively communicate with supervisor on an ongoing basis throughout the week by phone, email, written message and when possible, in person regarding program matters.
Qualifications
  • Education/Credentials/Licensure
    • High School diploma or associate degree from an accredited college or university in data science, management information systems, accounting, finance, mathematics, statistics, economics, psychology, or a related field or equivalent experience may be substituted.
    • Valid state driver’s license and safe driving record.
    • Reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
  • Experience
    • Requires one (1) year of experience in data entry, reporting, or administrative/clerical support.

Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands
    • This position requires operating a keypad device 50% of the day and electronic/office equipment 50% of the work day. Travel is required approximately 3 or more times per month and works in weather conditions about 25% of the day. Fingers, thumbs, hands, wrists, elbows, legs and feet are all routinely used throughout the day. The lower and upper torso is used 75% of the day. Employee must meet minimum requirements for hearing, speech, and vision. Walking is required 10% of the day. Standing occurs 10% of the day. Sitting happens 80% of the day. Reaching above the shoulder as well as bending and twisting are performed 25% of the day. This function routinely lifts 15 pounds, 4 times per day. The maximum lift is 50 pounds, 1 time per day. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Qualifications
