Job summary

Actalent in Dayton, NV is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support shipping, receiving, inventory, and material handling in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This full-time, contract role involves ensuring products are received, stored, picked, packed, and shipped safely and accurately, with a focus on maintaining an organized warehouse.

The schedule is Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, onsite only, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, and more.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous warehouse/shipping/receiving experience preferred.
  • Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain one.
  • Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and shipping documentation.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and warehouse systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Job Description

Essential Skills

  • Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment is a plus.

  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and shipping documentation.

  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and warehouse systems.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 100 lbs.

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

  • Comfortable working around warehouse equipment, forklifts, and industrial machinery.

  • Ability to wear required PPE, including steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and other protective equipment as needed.

Work Environment

The work environment involves working indoors and occasionally outdoors in varying weather conditions. Employees must be comfortable working around warehouse equipment, forklifts, and industrial machinery while adhering to safety protocols. The role requires wearing personal protective equipment such as steel-toed boots and safety glasses.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Dayton, NV.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
