Overview

Strong domain knowledge and expertise in QA manual and automation testing is highly desirable. Senior QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated functional, integration, regression, and performance tests
• Create comprehensive test automation scripts from business requirements and functional specifications documents for product features of moderate complexity
• Maintain automated and manual test script libraries for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing; interpret results of automation tests and document software defects in issue tracking system
• Proactively communicate issues with developers and other members
• Adhere to a testing schedule to ensure efficient and effective product deliver
• Actively participate in the agile software development process by adhering our standards
• Significant experience software testing in a process driven technology environment
• Demonstrated experience in preparing Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test cases and automated Test Scripts and execution of tests against web, native/desktop applications, APIs and batch applications
• Solid work in investment management/fintech
• Strong experience in manual as well as automated testing - experienced building automation tests using TDD/BDD techniques with tools such as Cucumber (others/different?) with strong SQL skills
• Demonstrate experience in maintaining automation code and resources in configuration management tools like GitHub/Bitbucket
• Demonstrate experience in container-based delivery using Docker
• Demonstrated experience using messaging services like Kafka, Kafka connect, Kafka stream
• Demonstrated ability translating business requirements into comprehensive functional and technical test plans
