Job summary

UNICEF in the State of Palestine seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist (P-3) to provide independent, high-level assurance and advisory support across UNICEF SoP’s programme and operations.

Working under the Risk & Compliance Manager, you will strengthen internal controls, data integrity, and the consistent application of UNICEF policies and regulatory frameworks to help the country office operate ethically and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, Management, Accounting, Statistics, Financial Management, Strategic Management, Risk Management or Audit.
• At least 5 years in Risk and Compliance, or related areas, preferably with international orgs.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of another UN language desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the annual Quality Assurance Plan across programme and operations.
• Conduct in-depth quality reviews, spot checks, and control testing across procurement, finance, HR, supply chain, ICT, and operations.
• Identify control gaps and propose corrective actions and preventive measures.
• Lead HACT financial assurance activities.
• Deliver trainings on internal controls, data integrity, and quality standards.
