Job summary

Bromcom Computers Plc is seeking a QA & Compliance Officer to join the QA & Compliance department. You will support a wide range of compliance activities across Software and DevOps, ensuring standards are understood, followed and evidenced.

The role emphasizes strong communication, collaboration at all levels and the creation and maintenance of clear procedure documentation, ISMS support, and audit preparation. No technical background required, but curiosity and rigor are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong written skills to create clear, concise process and procedure documentation.
• Good attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies and gaps.
• Organised and methodical, able to manage multiple compliance activities and follow actions through to completion.
• Able to ask appropriate questions and constructively challenge where standards or processes have not been followed.

Responsibilities

• Support the QA & Compliance department with day-to-day compliance activities across Software and DevOps.
• Carry out detailed compliance checks and audits using systems including AIDP, SysAid and DevOps.
• Review evidence to ensure that required processes and procedures have been followed and appropriately documented.
• Identify areas where compliance requirements have not been met and work with the relevant individuals and teams to resolve issues.
• Follow up on agreed actions to ensure they are completed within appropriate timescales.
• Help promote a strong culture of compliance and continuous improvement across the department.
• Communicate compliance requirements clearly and confidently to colleagues at all levels.
• Provide practical guidance and support to teams to help them understand and meet their compliance responsibilities.
• ISO & ISMS: Support ongoing operation and maintenance of the Integrated Management System (ISMS) and related records.
• Internal & External Audits: Assist with audits and evidence gathering, tracking findings and actions.
