Job summary

Coalizao is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer / Lead to design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web and API testing, and to drive automation strategy across complex applications.

You will lead test planning and execution, mentor junior engineers, integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps), and contribute to release readiness through metrics and quality goals.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years in Software Testing / QA Automation.
• Strong experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress.
• Proficient in Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on API testing with REST/JSON services.
• Experience with Postman and REST Assured.
• SQL and database testing; Git and CI/CD experience.
• Knowledge of Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and test mgmt tools.
• Familiar with SDLC/STLC, Agile/Scrum, and defect life cycle.
• Experience designing automation frameworks: Page Object Model, Data-Driven, Keyword-Driven, Hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, DevOps, and stakeholders for quality.
• Review test cases and automation code; mentor junior QA engineers.
• Establish QA best practices, coding standards, and automation processes.
• Monitor automation results and improve test coverage, stability, and execution time.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning.
• Prepare test reports, defect reports, quality metrics, and release-readiness assessments.

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer / Lead with 8-12 years of experience in software testing and automation. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing automation frameworks, API testing, CI/CD integration, and leading QA initiatives across complex applications.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web, API, and application testing.
• Lead automation strategy, test planning, execution, and continuous improvement.
• Develop automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent.
• Perform API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.

Required Technical Skills
