Job summary

PMA Financial Network is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain automated test suites for both internal and external web applications. You will run data-driven tests across UI, API, and database layers, write scripts in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, and collaborate with developers to improve quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems/CS/Math/Stats or related field and/or commensurate professional experience.
• 2-3 years of professional work experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test suites for PMA's web applications (UI, API, and data layers).
• Design and write automated test scripts using Playwright or similar frameworks with data-driven tests.
• Collaborate with end-users and developers to define test plans, acceptance criteria, and regression coverage.
• Build reusable test utilities, page objects, and libraries to reduce duplication and improve maintainability.
• Validate API responses (REST/GraphQL) for correctness, performance, and error handling; support load/perf tests (e.g., k6).
• Write and execute SQL queries against SQL Server and PostgreSQL to validate data integrity and assist root-cause analysis.
• Analyze test results and reports (HTML, Allure, JUnit) to identify trends and flaky tests.
• Improve speed, reliability, and scalability of automated test suites.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
