Job summary

Penske is seeking a QA Automation Test Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of digital products in a modern SaaS environment. This role is embedded within an Agile product team and focuses on building and maintaining automated testing solutions for continuous delivery and high uptime.

Collaborate with Product Managers and Software Engineers to drive a shift-left approach, define acceptance criteria, and improve testability across UI, API, and integration layers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 4+ years of QA automation/SDET experience in digital, SaaS, or platform environments.
• Strong experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks across UI, API, and integration layers.
• Proficiency in at least one test automation language (Java, JavaScript, Python).
• Experience with modern test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST Assured).
• Hands-on experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Solid understanding of Agile practices and cross-functional product teams.
• Shift-left testing and collaboration with Product Managers and Engineers to ensure testability.

Responsibilities

• Ensure comprehensive test coverage for web, mobile, and platform features.
