Everforth Apex is seeking a QA Automation Engineer IV for a remote role in the United States. The successful candidate will lead comprehensive testing strategies, including functional, load, and security testing, and drive CI/CD integration in an agile environment.

You will design and maintain automated scripts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and perform risk assessments to ensure high-quality software releases.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent related work experience is required.
• Extensive experience building, maintaining, and executing automated test frameworks.
• Hands-on with Selenium with Java; proficient in load, integration, security, and server-side testing.
• Experience with Appium, iOS Xcode, and relational databases (MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle).

Role Overview

An experienced QA Automation Engineer IV is required to lead and execute comprehensive testing strategies for software applications. The successful candidate will drive quality assurance initiatives by managing functional testing, load testing, usability testing, continuous integration, and rigorous code reviews. This position demands a technical professional who can collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Participate and contribute extensively to requirements analysis, design, QA test plan development, and defect reviews.
• Analyze QA results, lead sprint reviews, and actively contribute to project planning sessions.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate complex testing activities across project teams.
• Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases, test data, data validation processes, and automated scripts.
• Execute and evaluate automated test cases and report precise test results to stakeholders.
• Perform risk assessments and validate business requirements.
• Investigate bugs, write clear and concise defect reports, and monitor, triage, and drive the resolution of issues.

Required Qualifications

Education: Technical degree or equivalent related work experience is required.

Experience: Extensive experience in building, maintaining, and executing automated test frameworks is necessary. Demonstrated experience in agile development methodologies and a solid understanding of software testing lifecycles are required.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium with Java or similar is required. Candidates must possess hands‑on experience with load, integration, security, and server‑side testing. Proficiency in automating web and mobile applications using tools like Appium, Xcode, or similar is required. Solid knowledge of relational database development including MySQL, Microsoft SQL, or Oracle is essential. Experience with Git version control and CI/CD tools is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with scripting and programming languages such as Perl.
• Advanced knowledge of automated test infrastructure optimization in cloud environments.
