Job summary

Okaya Corp. is seeking a QA Automation/Manual Tester in Denver, CO to design and execute test plans, automate workflows, and improve testing frameworks.

The role requires strong knowledge of manual testing, API, performance testing, and cross-functional collaboration with software engineers and management. Candidates should be proficient with Playwright, TypeScript, Java, and modern QA tooling, able to translate requirements into robust test cases, and contribute to risk mitigation and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years QA/automated testing experience, or 3 years as BA/Software Engineer in Colorado Judicial Dept.
• Hands-on in designing, running, and maintaining automated tests across web, API and performance domains.
• Experience with error logs, DevTools, HTTP traces and stack traces for root-ccause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Translate requirements into concrete, reusable test cases and test data.
• Collaborate with engineers to identify and mitigate quality risks early in lifecycle.
• Execute predefined test cases and perform exploratory testing to uncover gaps.
• Log defects, track progress, and communicate root causes with developers.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and continuous improvement of QA processes.
