Job summary

Anchor Fintech is seeking a QA & Automation Engineer to join our growing team in the United States. The role blends hands-on manual testing with automation to build reliable test coverage as the product scales.

You will work closely with Product and Engineering from feature kickoff through release, ensuring quality and risk mitigation with a strong user perspective. AI tools will accelerate planning and execution in a collaborative startup setting.

Qualifications

3 years of hands-on QA experience including strong manual testing
At least 1 year of test automation experience
Ability to independently plan test coverage for complex features and flows
Experience developing automated tests with Playwright, Cypress, or similar
Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a collaborative startup environment
Graduate of a recognized QA training program (e.g., Basmach) or equivalent
ISTQB certification is a plus

Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and continuously improve comprehensive automated test coverage for new and existing features.
Plan and perform hands-on manual and exploratory testing from a user perspective.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering from kickoff through release, identifying risks and edge cases early.
Take ownership of assigned features from requirements through test approach and release readiness.
Leverage AI tools to accelerate test planning, automation development, and daily QA tasks.
Identify opportunities to improve QA processes and overall product quality.
