Job summary

ValueMomentum is hiring an experienced QA professional in the United States, based in Wisconsin, Appleton. The role focuses on software quality assurance for insurance-domain products, leveraging Playwright for automation and deep experience with Duck Creek Policy.

The candidate will analyze requirements, design tests, and drive end-to-end testing, including UAT and regression, while working within Agile teams to ensure high quality releases.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Software QA and Testing.
• Hands-on Playwright Automation experience (2-3 years).
• Strong Insurance domain knowledge with Duck Creek Policy.
• Experience analyzing requirements, user stories, and specs.
• Design and execute comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and test data.
• Experience with Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and UAT testing.
• Proficient in defect tracking and test management tools.
• Experience with automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Experience testing microservices and distributed systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in Agile teams.

Job description

8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.

Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on Playwright Automation experience.

Strong Insurance domain with Duck Creek Policy

Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.

Create detailed test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test data.

Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, and User Acceptance Testing.

Execute manual tests and document test results.

Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.

Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers to clarify requirements and resolve issues.

Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Familiarity with defect management and test management tools.

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.

Automate end-to-end business workflows and regression test suites.

Experience testing Microservices and distributed applications.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within Agile teams.

Strong attention to detail and quality mindset.

Proactive approach toward process improvement and automation adoption.
