This role identifies defects, trends, and control gaps before they impact customers, investors, or regulators. This role performs post-execution validation and does not approve or block live project progression.

This role identifies defects, trends, and control gaps before they impact customers, investors, or regulators. This role performs post-execution validation and does not approve or block live project progression. This position will be based out of one of our offices in Irvine, CA; San Francisco, CA; or Teaneck, NJ, with a potential in-office schedule set at the direct manager’s discretion in accordance with the company policies and procedures. Remote work may be considered for exceptional cases.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct post-approval quality assurance (QA) audits of milestone reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established standards.
  • Verify adherence to milestone review checklists, operational procedures, and governance requirements.
  • Assess metadata integrity and documentation completeness, ensuring all required records are accurate.
  • Identify, classify, and document quality defects by severity, while monitoring and analyzing defect trends to drive continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Operations and Vendor Performance teams to develop, implement, and track corrective action and remediation plans.
  • Support risk management, compliance, audit, and investor review activities by providing quality findings, documentation, and subject matter expertise.
  • Develop and deliver regular reporting and insights on quality performance, control effectiveness, defect trends, and operational risks.
  • Recommend process improvements and quality control enhancements based on audit results, trend analysis, and root cause findings.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, related fields or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in QA, audit, or operational controls.
  • Proven experience within the solar industry and the end-to-end understanding of TPO products from customer contract to asset monitoring or servicing
  • Proven ability to build and operate process-driven programs with clear controls and accountability.
  • Strong judgment, attention to detail, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate findings clearly and constructively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience auditing outsourced or vendor-driven workflows preferred
  • Solar, servicing, or financial operations experience preferred.
