OSI Industries, LLC is seeking a Supervisory QA/Production Specialist to oversee scheduling, training, coaching, and advising the QA Supervisor on staffing decisions. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across operations.
The successful candidate will coordinate shift transitions, communicate key updates to peers and Production Management, and prepare routine and special reports documenting testing activities and HACCP audits.
Responsible for a variety of supervisory activities including scheduling, training, coaching, and making recommendations to the QA Supervisor about performance, hiring and termination decisions.
Participate in the transitions between shifts and communicate key information to peers, team members and Production Management.
Prepare a variety of routine and special reports that document testing activities, test results, and operational issues involving product quality and safety such as swab tests, finished product tests, and HACCP audits.
Ensure operational compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in the areas of safety, employment, quality, work rules, good manufacturing practices, hazard analysis and critical control points, and others as established by communicating requirements to employees, validating understanding and correcting behavior as required .
Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience & Skills:
Planning, organizing, coordinating and leadership skills.
Computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization.
Strong problem solving, and decision-making skills.
Dem onstrated ab ility to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in food science , or a related field, or equivalent amount of relevant experience and education.
We are committed to fair and transparent pay practices. The hourly pay range for this position is $25.38 to $38.07 per hour. The final hourly rate offered will be based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, internal equity, and market considerations.
Additional Compensation:
This position may also be eligible for overtime pay, shift differentials, and/or bonus opportunities, as applicable.

This pay range represents the company's good fait estimate at the time of posting.
Must be able to climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crawl, and stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. for short distances.
Comfortable working with heights and confined spaces.
Comfortable working in non-climate-controlled environment.
