Job summary

Groundswell is seeking a QA tester to join our team, partnering with Appian project teams to develop and implement testing strategies for Appian applications. This hybrid role requires on-site presence at Groundswell HQ in McLean and client locations in the DC Metro area.

You will perform QA testing across multiple projects, create documentation and test scripts, analyze bugs, and write user stories while collaborating with project leads and developers to resolve issues and ensure quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience performing QA testing on software applications (i.e., Appian, UiPath, Pega, etc.)
• Detail oriented with experience working on several projects at one time
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Must be a U.S. citizen in accordance with contract requirements
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph

What You'll do:

We are seeking a QA tester to join our team! This person will be responsible for partnering with our Appian project teams to develop and implement testing strategies specific to Appian applications.

• Performing QA testing on Appian applications across several projects
• Creating documentation/ test scripts and recording results
• Partnering with project leads and developers to ensure issues are resolved
• Analyzing bugs to identify trends
• Writing user stories

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT or related field
• 3+ years of experience performing QA testing on software applications (i.e., Appian, UiPath, Pega, etc.)
• Detail oriented with experience working on several projects at one time
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Must be a U.S. citizenin accordance withcontract requirements.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph (preference given to those holding active TS clearance)
• This is a hybrid position and will require on-site presence at our Groundswell HQ in Mclean and client SCIF location in the DC Metro area.
• Flexibility to travel as required

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in automation testing desired
• Trusted Tester Certification (508 compliance) desired

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Groundswell, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$83,041.00 - $117,314.00
