Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented QA Analyst to support testing and validation of integrated transaction and payment platforms. The role focuses on API testing, payment workflows, and complex integrations across multiple systems.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of QA/testing experience, hands-on API testing with Postman, and knowledge of payment security standards. You will collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure reliability and data integrity across production

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in QA Testing, Software Testing, or Test Analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Postman, API testing, request routing, response validation, and test execution.
• Experience testing payment processing systems, gateways, portals, online payment solutions, and banking apps.
• Experience with credit/debit cards, ACH, transaction processing, digital payments, or banking systems.
• Knowledge of PCI-DSS standards and payment security best practices.
• Experience creating and executing test cases, scripts, and defect reports.
• Experience with integration, regression, system and end-to-end testing.
• Familiarity with organizations in payment/fintech environments (e.g., Fiserv, PayPal, Stripe).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test cases, plans, and scripts.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate API requests and responses using Postman.
• Review payloads, response codes, and system behavior against requirements.
• Test integrations between applications, services, and third-party platforms.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Validate transaction flows and data movement across systems.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes.
• Support release testing, UAT activities, and production validation.
• Ensure application reliability, security, and data integrity.
