Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented Test Analyst to support testing and validation of integrated transaction and payment platforms. The role focuses on ensuring seamless functionality across APIs, third-party integrations, payment systems, and customer-facing applications.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience testing payment workflows, transaction processing, and complex integrated environments, with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in QA Testing, Software Testing, or Test Analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Postman, API Testing, request routing, response validation, and test execution.
• Experience testing payment processing systems, payment gateways, payment portals, online payment solutions, banking applications, merchant services, or card-based platforms.
• Experience working with credit card, debit card, ACH, transaction processing, digital payments, or banking systems.
• Knowledge of PCI-DSS standards and payment security best practices.
• Experience creating and executing test cases, test scripts, and defect reports.
• Experience with integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate API requests and responses using Postman.
• Review payloads, response codes, and system behavior to ensure functionality meets requirements.
• Test integrations between multiple applications, services, and third-party platforms.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Validate transaction flows and data movement across systems.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes.
• Support release testing, UAT activities, and production validation.
• Ensure application reliability, security, and data integrity.
