Job summary

The Walt Disney Company’s ILM San Francisco team is seeking a QA Analyst for a short-term project based in the Bay Area. You will perform manual testing, collaborate with developers, and help refine QA procedures to ensure immersive experiences meet high quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in game QA, familiarity with PC/Console testing, and mobile testing. Bonus points for Unreal Engine experience and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QA experience in the game industry or related field.
• Experience with PC/Console testing (PlayStation, XBOX, etc.).
• Experience testing mobile games (iOS/Android).
• Ability to follow rigorous QA processes and develop improvements.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual build verification, regression, and general testing for quality and performance.
• Collaborate directly with development teams to resolve issues.
• Refine and improve test procedures and plans to boost efficiency.
• Assist Designers and Engineers with gameplay and balance analysis.
• Identify, report, and track defects to maintain high product quality.
• Test and verify software and internal tools for quality.
