Job summary

The Marzetti Company seeks a Quality Assurance Analyst II to maintain quality across raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods at our College Park, GA facility, ensuring compliance with internal specs and customer requirements.

You will conduct tests, document results, monitor production for safety, and lead testing activities including sensory assessments, labeling checks, and 24-hour re-testing where needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is minimum.
• At least 1 year experience as QA Analyst I.
• Associate's or Bachelor's in related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HACCP, GMP, FDA/USDA regulations.
• Proficient lab testing and equipment operation.
• Strong communication and computer skills.
• Knowledge of FSQS and audit standards.

Responsibilities

• Collects samples and monitors tests per procedures.
• Conducts 24-hour product re-testing for quality attributes.
• Performs sensory setup and scoring as applicable.
• Manage shipments and samples for QA and R&D teams.
• Supports product labeling approvals and artwork checks.
• Runs tests to support new product development and specifications.
• Communicate shift handoffs to Lead/Supervisor.
• Assist with customer and consumer complaint investigations.
• Provide back-up to micro technician and QA Analyst I.
