Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst 1 to join our delivery teams. You will test fintech applications, work with developers and product owners, and contribute to high-quality software across API and microservices architectures.

The role supports remote work in the Greater Boston Area or hybrid work 3 days a week in Alpharetta, GA. You will build test plans, perform manual and automated testing, and help improve quality practices within an agile environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
3-5 years of QA or Test Automation experience.
Experience testing APIs, microservices and integrated systems.
Strong knowledge of software testing principles and risk-based testing.
Familiarity with agile testing practices (BDD/TDD) and tools like Karate or Cucumber.

Responsibilities

Contribute to test planning and design of test plans and strategies.
Work within Scrum/Kanban/SAFe teams to support agile deliveries.
Analyze requirements and stories to define test coverage for APIs and microservices.
Execute manual and automated tests, including API, microservices and automated test execution.
Create and maintain automated tests to progress automation work items.
Collaborate with developers and product owners to resolve issues and drive quality improvements.
