Job summary

Basecamp Consulting and Solutions is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to support software development and delivery efforts. You will validate system functionality, identify defects, and support testing across development, integration, and production environments.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborates with developers, business analysts, the PMO, and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements, while owning testing activities and

Qualifications

Experience testing web applications, APIs, and integrated systems.
Understanding of SDLC, Agile, and release processes.
Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA).
Ability to analyze requirements and identify edge cases.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across environments.
Develop and maintain test cases, scenarios, and data.
Perform SIT and support SAT/UAT activities.
Identify, document, and track defects with steps and evidence.
Retest fixes, validate deployments, and support root-cause analysis.
Help with smoke testing and production verification.
Collaborate with developers, BAs, PMO and stakeholders on requirements.
Communicate testing status, risks, and issues clearly.
Identify testing gaps and contribute to QA improvements.
