Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to ensure software quality through comprehensive test planning, execution, and defect tracking. You will work with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver reliable software.

Responsibilities include creating test plans and scripts, executing manual and automated tests, and validating fixes across functional, regression, integration, and system testing within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience in software testing or QA role.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and technical specifications.
• Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform manual and/or automated testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Validate fixes and perform re-testing.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
