QA Analyst: Automation & Performance Testing

Job summary

University Support Services, LLC seeks an Analyst, Quality Assurance (QA) to support IT systems through functional testing and cross-functional collaboration. The role ensures enterprise components meet design specifications and business requirements, with emphasis on Agile processes and comprehensive test coverage.

Responsibilities include building test templates, scripting for performance testing, and validating CRM/ERP integrations (Salesforce/Ellucian Banner).

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar technical degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of three (3) plus years of experience in functional system testing, including planning, assessments, script development & maintenance, preferably in a cloud environment
• Minimum of three (3) plus years of experience with testing large-scale systems
• Working knowledge of testing integrated CRM and ERP systems. Salesforce and/or Ellucian Banner is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create test case templates to facilitate the mapping of manual test cases to automation test cases
• Develop test scripts and load models for performance testing based on system requirements, processes, and user stories
• Execute software testing for new and existing enterprise systems, utilizing a variety of technologies, including responsive design systems, mobile devices, web services, and ETL jobs
• Provide feedback and recommendations to the project lead in support of determining requirements for testing needs within a system or platform feature
• Execute End-to-End Test Automation and Tools Strategies/Roadmaps, including performance and load testing (as needed)
• Document performance testing results accurately (as needed)
• Execute software test plans, test cases, and scripts and scenarios in accordance with current procedures and methodologies to accurately describe test scope and test schedules
• Document defects identified and review risk analysis points with leadership
• Participate in System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process improvement initiatives to provide gap analysis and recommendations for the resolution of issues
• Support in conducting compatibility tests with vendor-provided programs
• Support in monitoring program performance after implementation to prevent recurrence of program operating problems and ensure efficiency of operation
• Perform other duties as assigned.
