Job summary

Ingram Marine Group is seeking a QA Analyst to join our team. This role independently performs software quality assurance activities for application development projects, system enhancements, integrations, and production releases.

You will develop and execute testing, manage defects, and contribute to test automation efforts to improve coverage and release confidence. You will collaborate with Business Analysts, Application Developers, Product Owners, Project Managers, and stakeholders to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/IT/Business or related field (or equivalent).
• Three+ years in software quality assurance, software testing, or related role.
• QA certifications preferred but not required.
• Solid knowledge of QA principles, testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
• Experience with functional, integration, system, regression, API, performance, and post-deployment testing.
• Experience identifying automation candidates and developing automated tests.
• Knowledge of automated testing tools, frameworks, scripting approaches, and CI practices.
• Experience with defect tracking, test management, and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute functional, integration, system, regression, UAT, API, performance, and post-deployment testing.
• Develop and maintain test plans, cases, scripts, data, and QA documentation.
• Analyze requirements for clarity, completeness, and testability.
• Identify, document, track defects and quality risks; prioritize and communicate.
• Coordinate test environments, data, schedules, and participation.
• Communicate testing status, results, and release-readiness to stakeholders.
• Support release validation and post-deployment verification.
• Promote QA standards and best practices; participate in root-cause analysis; guide junior QA resources.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated tests; integrate them into CI/CD.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot failures and improve automation.
• Monitor defect trends and identify process improvements.
