About The Role

We are looking for a QA Engineer (Automation Focus) to join our Managed Services – Outsource Services team. In this role, you’ll contribute to quality assurance strategies and test plans for internal and external-facing applications that support regulatory compliance services. With a strong focus on automation (approximately 70%), this position plays a key role in ensuring application reliability and performance.

This is a remote position (U.S. based) with standard business hours. You’ll be joining one of the fastest-growing business units at J. J. Keller and will work with the latest Microsoft technologies in a collaborative, agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA plans, test strategies, and procedures
• Design and execute test cases and scenarios for web-based applications
• Perform API testing (manual and automated) and create automated test suites
• Establish and maintain comprehensive test data sets
• Analyze test results, document defects, and initiate change requests
• Ensure consistent QA methodology is applied across projects
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA team members

Qualifications

Required:

• 2+ years of QA experience with web or software applications
• Proven experience in API testing (manual and automation)
• Strong background in automated testing tools
• Familiarity with QA practices and methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in Technology or related field (Associate’s with added experience may be considered)
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred

• Experience with mobile testing
• Exposure to relational databases (SQL), Windows, IIS
• Passion for emerging technologies, cloud platforms, or predictive analytics
