Job summary

A leading tech company is seeking a QA Analyst to join their team in Whippany, NJ. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing specifications, developing and executing test plans, and managing UAT. Ideal candidates will have over 3 years of unit and functional testing experience, with a strong background in automation testing, preferably using Python. This long-term position allows all work authorizations and targets those with excellent analytical and testing skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with unit and functional testing.
• Experience with automation testing, preferably in Python.
• Proven experience with manual testing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze functional and design specifications documents
• Identify test requirements from design document and mapping documents
• Involve in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, creating reusable test data, test case automation, and test execution
• Develop automation test scenarios and enhance automation test platform
• Create and facilitate test plans/reviews with team
• Execute manual and automated test cases
• Manage UAT
• Enhance existing Test scripts, identify end-to-end test scenarios
• Independently create Test Scenarios & Test Cases

Skills and Experience Required:

Required:

• 3+ years of experience with unit and functional testing
• Automation testing experience, Python language preferred (strong plus)
• Experience with manual testing
• Ability to convey technical concepts to professionals with varying levels of technical knowledge
