Job summary

Multistack, LLC in Maryland is seeking a software QA tester to ensure quality, reliability, and usability of internal and customer-facing applications. You will collaborate with developers and product stakeholders throughout the SDLC to validate new features and support dependable releases.

The role focuses on testing a C#/.NET backend with Next.js/React frontend, APIs, and data validation using SQL. You will create and execute test cases, document defects, and contribute to regression coverage

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional software QA, testing, or related technical experience.
• Experience creating and executing software test cases.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and defect documentation skills.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience testing APIs; GraphQL experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with modern web applications, React, and C#/.NET.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and bug/work-item tracking tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a small development team.

This role will focus on ensuring the quality, reliability, and usability of Multistack’s internal and customer-facing software applications. Testing will primarily support our backend-driven Next.js/C# application and new tooling built within a larger connected system.

• Background or interest in the HVAC industry.
