Overview

A skilled QA analyst who has worked as Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong experience in automation testing, Java and Python scripting, and quality assurance for enterprise applications. Expertise in designing and executing automated and manual test strategies within Agile (Scrum) environments.

Experienced in working on Java-based middleware systems, API testing, and integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. Adept at leveraging tools like Splunk, Swagger, and TestRail to enhance testing efficiency and software quality. Combines a strong development background with QA practices to deliver scalable, high-performance, and reliable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish project milestones, track progress, identify risks, and drive mitigation strategies.
  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Java and Python.
  • Create and maintain test cases, use cases, and test scenarios aligned with business needs.
  • Perform API testing using REST, JSON, and Swagger tools.
  • Work on Java middleware testing, ensuring backend system reliability.
  • Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Monitor and track QA metrics such as defect counts, test results, and execution status.
  • Analyze testing data to identify process improvements and enhance product quality.
  • Execute functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Document defects and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
  • Use Splunk for log analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain test case repositories using tools like TestRail.
  • Conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with QA standards and methodologies.
  • Provide quality training and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with POs, BAs, developers, and cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of QA/testing experience, preferably in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong experience in automated testing (mandatory).
  • Hands-on experience with Java-based QA testing.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, VBScript, C#.
  • Experience in API testing (REST, JSON).
  • Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, TestRail, Splunk, Swagger.
  • Experience with automation frameworks and SDET practices.
  • Understanding of media planning/buying systems (preferred).
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with high attention to quality.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
