Philadelphia, PA
You're not looking for another generic Python role. You want to sit where technology, financing, and risk actually meet.
In this role, you design and own the systems that underpin firm-wide treasury and financing operations - margin, collateral, haircuts, cash, funding, exposure, and more.
Your code will drive margin lending, repos, stock loan workflows, and the data that treasury, operations, and risk teams rely on every single day.
You'll be close to the business, working directly with Treasury, Operations, Risk, and Technology to turn messy real-world requirements into clean, production-grade systems.
If you've built or supported treasury / margin / collateral systems and you live in Python, we want to talk to you.
You'll be the backbone engineer for treasury, margin, and collateral technology:
Python is your primary tool, backed by strong SQL and relational databases to keep financing data clean, fast, and reliable.
This is about building the systems that treasury relies on when the market is moving fast. You've lived in the treasury / financing world: you understand how repos, stock loan, and margin lending actually move through systems, and you've shipped Python code that those desks depend on. Capital, RWA, haircuts, currency exposure, and regulatory reporting aren't buzzwords to you - they're use cases you've built for.
This is a chance to own critical financing infrastructure inside a major trading environment - not a distant platform, but the tools treasury and operations touch every day.
You'll work close to the action, with direct lines to Treasury, Operations, Risk, and technology, and see your impact every time markets move.
If you want your Python skills to sit at the heart of real funding, exposure, and collateral decisions, this is where they matter.
Hands-on treasury, margin, or collateral systems experience is mandatory. Strong Python without this domain is not a fit.Treasury systems engineer, margin systems engineer, collateral systems engineer, Python developer, Python engineer, treasury technology, margin and collateral, financing workflows, repo, stock loan, margin lending, capital reporting, RWA, haircuts, currency exposure, regulatory reporting, SQL, Oracle, SQL Server, HTML, web UI, data warehouse, big data, Java, VBA, bank technology, broker-dealer tech, prime brokerage systems, buy-side technology, trading firm technologies, operations technology, treasury operations, funding systems, exposure reporting
