MORSE Corp is seeking a Python Software Engineer to join our team supporting DoD projects. You will design, develop, and deliver scalable Python applications with a focus on reliability and performance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of software development experience, are US citizens capable of obtaining security clearance, and are proficient in Python, databases, Git, and container technologies. Hybrid/onsite work with 3+ days in the office is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or significant professional experience).
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance (Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI).
• Expertise in Python and strong understanding of relational databases and Git.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, efficient, and reliable software applications using Python.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and pair programming to ensure high-quality code and knowledge sharing.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest software engineering trends, tools, and technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products, ensuring seamless integration and deployment.
• Contribute to the development of new codebases that emphasize object-orientation, modularity, and maintainability.
