Job summary

MORSE Corp is seeking highly motivated Software Engineers with cloud expertise to join our DoD-focused team. You will develop AI, ML, simulation, and mission planning capabilities for DoD customers, primarily using Python and cloud services.

You will design scalable software, maintain cloud infrastructure with IaC, participate in code reviews, and stay current with engineering trends while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-quality software products.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Proficiency in Python and cloud platforms.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider and IaC (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Experience with Kubernetes and Helm.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Agile development and microservice architectures.
• Strong communication skills and self-motivation.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 1+ years of software engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, efficient software applications using Python.
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Oversee deployment of cloud services and ensure security guidelines are followed.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and collaborate with your team.
• Stay up to date with the latest software engineering trends and technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.
• Contribute to new codebases emphasizing object orientation, modularity, and maintainability.
