Job summary

Global Technical Talent, Inc. is seeking a Python Developer in Fort Mill, SC to develop and maintain an AWS-hosted web application with a React frontend and Python backend.

You will collaborate with data modelers, analysts, and business users across product teams to ensure ongoing development. The role requires 5+ years in an enterprise setting, strong OOP and data manipulation skills, and experience with React, SQL Server, and testing frameworks.

Qualifications

• 5 years in an enterprise environment.
• Strong grasp of OOP; data manipulation libraries (pandas, NumPy, DATETIME, regex).
• 2 years front-end development with React, JS, HTML, and CSS.
• 1 year SQL Server writing basic queries and implementing SPs.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, GitLab).
• Experience in Confluence and Jira."
• Proficient in testing frameworks (PyTest/Jest/UnitTest).
• Ability to work inclusively and collaborate within a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the demonstration of consistency to the LSEG Data standard policies and procedures.
• Adapt quickly to new technologies, tools, and frameworks as needed for projects.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with industry trends and standard processes.
• Develop and maintain web applications using React and Python.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Optimize applications and code for speed and scalability.
• Solve and debug applications to improve performance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to teams' standard processes.
• Document data ownership and establish integrations with enterprise data repositories.
