Job summary

7Th Sky Tech in Dallas is looking for a skilled Python Developer with React experience to join our engineering team on a full-time hybrid basis. You will build scalable backend services with Python and create modern, responsive user interfaces with React.

The ideal candidate has 3–7+ years of professional software development, strong knowledge of REST APIs, relational databases, and best practices for testing, security, and performance.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python.
• Experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Strong experience with React.js.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
• Experience with debugging, performance optimization, and automated testing.
• Good understanding of responsive web development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Python and React.
• Develop robust backend services, APIs, and business logic using Python.
• Build responsive and reusable frontend components using React.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs between frontend and backend systems.
• Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Implement authentication, authorization, security, and data-validation mechanisms.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following development best practices.
• Troubleshoot application issues and optimize application performance.
• Write unit tests, integration tests, and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement user-friendly interfaces.
• Work with Git-based version control and standard software development workflows.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
• Support application deployment, monitoring, and production troubleshooting.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
