Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, data science, computer science, engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • ASA designation.
  • 5+ years of actuarial experience within insurance, financial services, or a related quantitative field.
  • 3+ years of Python programming experience supporting analytical, actuarial, or modeling applications.
  • Experience developing, maintaining, validating, or enhancing actuarial, financial, or other complex quantitative models.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into maintainable solutions while independently managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Convert business requirements into maintainable Python-based models and applications.
  • Maintain, validate, and enhance the dividend modeling platform for participating whole life products.
  • Collaborate with actuarial subject matter experts to support model validation and production readiness.
  • Promote governance, testing, and documentation practices in model development.
