Job summary

Chris Baily's Buy Side firm is seeking a Python Engineer to collaborate with quantitative researchers to design and build scalable data processing and retrieval workflows in NY.

You will take ownership of projects through the full production deployment life cycle and contribute to the firm's overall data strategy, leveraging AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, and NoSQL technologies.

Strong Python programming skills and the ability to handle large data volumes are essential.

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
• 3+ years of Python programming experience.
• Experience with SQL Server and SQL.
• Ability to process and manipulate large data volumes.
• Knowledge of finance with experience working with front office teams is a plus.
• Experience with AWS, EKS/Kubernetes, Kafka and NoSQL databases.
