Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our engineering team. You will work with our lead engineer to maintain existing code and develop automation services, focusing on a scalable, event-driven cloud system leveraging AWS.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys tackling complex backend challenges, and can work independently within an established architecture.

️Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance legacy Python code for scraping, data processing, and automation.
• Support new feature development collaboratively with the lead engineer.
• Build and deploy event-driven services using AWS Lambda and DynamoDB.
• Write and maintain infrastructure as code with AWS CDK.
• Develop automated reporting and invoicing systems for clients.
• Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure system reliability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve system resilience.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on Python experience in a production environment
• Deep expertise with AWS services like Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, CloudWatch
• Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and cloud-native system design
• Experience building scraping bots or automation tools
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code, preferably with AWS CDK
• Solid skills in unit testing, integration testing, and debugging cloud systems

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with data pipelines or real-time analytics
• Knowledge of reporting, invoicing, or client-facing systems
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to work autonomously and manage workload independently
