Ethereum Technologies seeks an experienced Senior Python Engineer in Charlotte, NC to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Capital Markets applications, data pipelines, and APIs. The role emphasizes Python excellence, SQL proficiency, and strong architectural thinking within a production environment.

Strong background in AI/GenAI, agent development, and orchestration is highly desirable, with front-end exposure using Dash, Flask, React, or similar frameworks.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field, with significant relevant experience. Advanced degree preferred.
• Experience developing Capital Markets solutions involving hedges, securities, derivatives, interest rates, and related financial products.
• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting production-grade applications.
• 8+ years of strong Python development experience, including: Object-oriented programming and software design principles; Modular development and reusable components; Unit testing, packaging, and performance optimization; Writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
• 8+ years of SQL experience, including: Relational database design and data modeling; Data normalization, indexing, and joins; Query optimization and primary/foreign keys; SQL-based data pipelines.
• Strong experience designing and integrating REST APIs, services, automation workflows, and data processing jobs.
• Experience with data pipeline design, application architecture, IT architecture, or enterprise technology solution delivery.
• Ability to translate complex or ambiguous business requirements into technical specifications, architecture designs, and implementation plans.
• Front-end or UI development experience using Dash, Flask, React, Vue.js, Angular, or similar frameworks.
• Experience implementing AI/GenAI use cases, including: AI agent development and orchestration; Prompt engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG); MCP (Model Context Protocol) client/server integrations.
• Experience with mainstream AI tools, platforms, and frameworks.
