Job summary

Geneva Trading in Chicago seeks ambitious students for a 10-week full-time Python internship on our DevOps team. You will design solutions, work on a trading system, and gain hands-on experience with CI/CD, scripting, and collaboration with senior engineers.

You will deploy, present, and operationalize your projects in a mature trading environment, applying AI-assisted tooling to automate workflows and improve productivity.

Qualifications

• Strong Python programming skills and knowledge of data structures/algorithms.
• Understanding of design patterns and scalable architectures, defensive coding.
• Basic familiarity with Linux and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to document processes clearly for knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Design solutions to complex problems and contribute to automation tooling.
• Collaborate with Senior DevOps engineers on project features and CI/CD work.
• Develop Python scripts interfacing with AI APIs for log analysis or alerting.
• Assist with project planning, architecture, and deployment in trading infrastructure.
