Job summary

Inferno Systems is seeking a proactive Python developer to modernize and support a cross-domain solution used by penetration testers, data scientists and network defenders. You will participate in all stages of the software lifecycle—from gathering requirements to testing and deployment—in a fast-moving, collaborative team.

You will write Python in Linux, contribute to a CI/CD pipeline, perform code reviews, and interface with customers to advance the mission.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and writing software with tests and documentation.
• Strong Python development experience.
• Experience in a Linux environment.
• Understanding of Zero Trust architecture.
• Ability to lead and work with multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with web sites and web applications.
• Knowledge of certification and accreditation processes.
• Ability to multitask with minimal supervision.
• Attention to detail in all tasks.
• Experience interfacing with customers and users.

Responsibilities

• Gather system requirements and draft architecture documentation.
• Propose technical solutions and create flow diagrams.
• Write Python code and implement designs.
• Develop and run test cases; contribute to CI/CD pipeline.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor peers.
• Interface directly with customers and users across the lifecycle.
