Job summary

TEKsystems in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Python Developer for a contract position to design, develop, test, and deploy Python-based applications within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

You will write robust Python code, create and execute test cases, validate functionality, and collaborate across teams to ensure software quality, reliable deployments, and production support in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional Python development experience.
  • Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience writing, testing, and deploying production-grade applications.
  • Familiarity with PyTest or UnitTest frameworks.
  • Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Python applications and scripts.
  • Write clean, well-documented Python code.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test cases for Python apps.
  • Validate code, debug, and perform QA testing.
  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to fix defects.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to join our team and support the development, testing, and deployment of Python-based applications. The ideal candidate will have strong Python scripting expertise, experience with Jenkins, and a passion for software quality and automation.

This role will involve writing and maintaining Python applications, creating and executing test cases, validating code functionality, and supporting CI/CD processes through Jenkins.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain Python applications and scripts.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test cases for Python applications.
  • Perform code validation, debugging, and quality assurance testing.
  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to identify and resolve software defects.
  • Integrate, build, and deploy applications using Jenkins pipelines.
  • Support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to software development best practices.
  • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues as needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
