Job summary

Axiom Path is seeking a Python backend developer for a hybrid role based in Charlotte, NC. You will design, build, and maintain scalable server-side applications and RESTful APIs in a large enterprise tech setting.

The position requires 5-7 years of Python experience, familiarity with databases, and collaboration within Agile teams. W2 contract, approximately 12 months, with a focus on reliable, efficient software delivery.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant software development experience with strong hands-on Python expertise.
• Strong understanding of Python programming concepts, data structures, algorithms, and OOP.
• Experience developing server-side applications, services, scripts, or backend components.

• Work on backend applications, APIs, automation, and data-driven solutions within a large enterprise technology environment.
  
• Gain exposure to software development practices spanning application development, database integration, testing, code reviews, and deployment processes.
  
• Long-term contract assignment currently scheduled for approximately 12 months.

Requirements

Do You Bring Proven Success in Python Backend Development?

• 5 7 years of relevant software development experience, with strong hands-on Python expertise.
  
• Strong understanding of Python programming concepts, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
  
• Demonstrated experience developing server-side applications, services, scripts, or backend components.
  
• Experience connecting applications to databases and working with data-driven systems.
  
• Proficiency with source/version control systems such as Git.
  
• Solid understanding of software testing, debugging, and maintainable coding practices.
  
• Ability to independently analyze technical problems while collaborating effectively within Agile teams.
  
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate requirements into practical technical solutions.
  
• Exposure to cloud platforms, DevOps tooling, CI/CD, or front-end technologies is beneficial.
