Job summary

Intone Inc. is seeking a Python/AWS Developer for a 6+ month contract based in Malvern, Pennsylvania. The role focuses on building cloud-native microservices and REST APIs on AWS, with emphasis on event-driven design and scalable infrastructure.

You will work with distributed systems, implement IaC, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines. Ideal candidate has 7+ years of software engineering and 5+ years of AWS experience in a cloud-native environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on AWS development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or Java.
• Experience developing cloud-native microservices and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, SNS, SQS, EventBridge, Step Functions).
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, asynchronous messaging, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
