Job summary

Smart Placement Services is seeking a QA/Test Engineer focused on data validation, ETL and backend testing. The role emphasizes Python-based test automation, SQL validation, and data warehouse/MDM testing across API and integration scenarios.

The position supports remote work with a Pune-based interview preference and face-to-face discussions for local candidates. Experience with PyTest, Selenium and Robot Framework is desirable.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python and test frameworks (PyTest, Great Expectations).
• Strong SQL skills and backend testing experience.
• Experience with data validation, ETL testing, MDM and data warehouse testing.
• Familiar with API and integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
